Marcella Sculthorpe, 82, of Festus died July 14, 2023, at her home. Mrs. Sculthorpe worked as an accountant for Redfield Collision in Festus. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Born Sept. 18, 1940, in Little Prairie, she was the daughter of the late Daisy Almeda (Goodman) and Raymond Bruce Alexander. She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Willard Sculthorpe.
She is survived by a son: Robert L. (Kimberly) Sculthorpe of Festus; a sister: Kay (Blan) Kolwyck of St. Louis; a granddaughter: Ashley (Jeremy) Axtetter; and two great-grandchildren: Laine Axtetter and Caleb Axtetter. She was preceded in death by a brother: Jerry Alexander.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main, in Festus, officiated by Pastor Sam Keich of Grace Life Church in Pevely. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
