James Frederick Elliott, 81, of Tacoma, Wash., formerly of St. Louis and Fenton, died Oct. 3, 2025. Mr. Elliott was an automobile mechanic and a 65-year member of the International Association of Machinists Union, Automotive Local Lodge 777. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Born April 26, 1944, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Mary Kathleen (Schumacher) and Harold Edwin Elliott.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years: Anna (Trolinger) Elliott.
He is survived by a child: Tonya (Bill) Elliott; and many other family members and friends.
Burial with full military honors will take place in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks, officiated by Father Paul Rothschild. Arrangements are under the direction of Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary in St. Louis.
