Sheri Lynn (Courtois) Vacca, 56, Festus

Sheri Lynn (Courtois) Vacca, 56, of Festus died Oct. 17, 2025. Ms. Vacca worked as a senior branch office administrator for Edward Jones, and she was a member of the Festus-Crystal City Elks Lodge 1721. She enjoyed taking pictures of and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she enjoyed taking on trips. Born on July 2, 1969, in Crystal City, the daughter of Juanita (Elliott) Courtois of Crystal City and the late Walter Courtois.

She is survived by a son: Tyler (Emily) McClanahan of Manchester; a daughter: Tori (Dan) Barton of Herculaneum; a brother: Sean (Dawn) Courtois of Cedar Hill; four grandchildren: Peyton, Riggins, Teegan and Reid; a nephew: Jaden; a niece: Jenna; and many friends.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, at Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Avenue, in Festus. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Our Lady Catholic Church, 1550 St. Mary’s Lane in Festus. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel.
