Kenneth C. Erb, 85, of Arnold

Kenneth C. Erb, 85, of Arnold died Jan. 8, 2026, in St. Louis County. He was retired. He had been the co-owner of Erb Equipment Co. He was Catholic and an Army veteran. He was third-degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Born March 18, 1940 in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Hilda (Behrman) Erb and Alvin Erb.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years” Kathy (Banness) Erb of Arnold; four children: Gary (Mitzi) Erb of Imperial, Mary Stecher of Arnold, Diane Stecher of Imperial and Tricia (Mike) Delcambre of Imperial; a brother: Stanley (Patricia) Erb; three grandchildren: Sarah Delcambre of Fenton, Mickey (Malea) Delcambre of Iowa City, Iowa and Molly (Alex) Will of Chesterfield; three great-grandchildren: Oliver Will of Chesterfield and Mia and Max Delcambre of Iowa City, Iowa; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son: Joseph Stecher (Beverly survives); and siblings: Marilyn (Tom) Asinger, Bob Erb and Diane (Joseph) Dietz.

A memorial service with Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church, 4900 Ringer Road, Oakville. Interment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to a charity of donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
