Christopher Denean Jones, 70, of Pevely

Christopher Denean Jones, 70, of Pevely died on Dec. 6, 2025, in Pevely. Mr. Jones was a laborer/carpenter for Kenny Eiler Construction. He was an avid baseball player and bowler in his younger years. He was a St. Louis sports fan and loved watching the Cardinals and Blues. He was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Born April 16, 1955, he was the son of the late Ruth Keim Jones and William Denean Jones.

He is survived by his wife: Deborah McCabe Jones of Pevely; two sons: Joshua Michael (Jill) Jones and Christopher Ryan Jones of Barnhart; three siblings: Barbara Jones Reed of Hillsboro, Lori Jones Mathenia of Pevely and Andrew (Kimberly) Jones of Kansas City; nieces: Michelle Bowles of Dittmer, Sarah Melber Renwick of Pevely and Amber McCabe of Pevely; nephews: Samuel Jones of Kansas City, Wesley Melber and Quinn Melber of Pevely; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Steven Reed; a niece: Kim Reed Brown; and a nephew: Adam McCabe.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
