Christine Ellen Johnson, 69, of Festus

Christine Ellen Johnson, 69, of Festus died on Dec. 18, 2025. Ms. Johnson had a hardworking spirit, many talents and held numerous jobs throughout her life. She will be remembered for deep unconditional love for her family, kindness and unwavering faith. She enjoyed creating arts and crafts, gardening and traveling. Born Dec. 25, 1955, in Hannibal, she was the daughter of the late James Pflum and Rosalie (Hawkins) Pflum.

She is survived by a son: Adam Taylor of Festus; daughters: Rosie (Reuben) Sanchez of High Ridge, Amanda (Nick) Nihira of Bloomsdale and Kelly Johnson of Melber, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and siblings: Jimmy, Glenn, Marlyn, Donna “Skippy,” Shirley, Diane and Vicki.

She was preceded in death by a daughter: Brandy Taylor.

Private services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel in Festus.
