Cathy Ann Monroe, 65, House Springs

Cathy Ann Monroe, 65, of House Springs died Oct. 3, 2023, in Fenton. Mrs. Monroe was known for her sarcastic sense of humor. She adored animals, listening to music, reading, going to concerts with her daughters and watching magnificent theatrical productions at the Fabulous Fox Theater. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and being a “Grammy.” Born April 24, 1958, in Richmond Heights, she was the daughter of the late Rosetta (Courtway) and Jennings Monroe.

She is survived by her husband: Jerry Graves; two children: Kristen Marquardt and Shannon (Alex) Grobelny; four grandchildren: Mason, Madelyn, Rachael and Brooklyn; one sister: Terry (Mike) Joyner; a niece and nephew: Beverly Petty and Rick Barnwell; as well as many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by one son-in-law: Brad Marquardt.

Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at noon, Monday, Oct. 9, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
