Nicholas James Guerra, 26
Nicholas James Guerra, 26, of Pevely died March 14, 2022, in Jefferson County. Mr. Guerra enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, listening to music, fishing and going to his grandpa’s place at the lake. Born April 26, 1995, in Sacramento, Calif., he was the son of Diane (DeRaps) Mazur of Pevely and Sergio Guerra Sr. of Sacramento, Calif.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons: Arik Freeman of Pevely and Phoenix Guerra of Pevely; the mother of his children: Jenna Freeman; six siblings: Joseph Mazur of Pevely, Trent (Monica) Guerra of Stockton, Calif., Rico Guerra of Sacramento, Calif., Sergio Guerra of Sacramento, Calif., Lydia (Nathaniel Brooks) Guerra of Sacramento, Calif., and Sara Guerra of Sacramento, Calif.; a grandfather: Michael DeRaps of Protem; two nieces: Angelina and Emma; a nephew: Nathaniel David; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Trina Mazur; three grandparents: Sandy DeRaps, Alene Casaucau and Michael Casaucau; and a great-grandmother: Rita Doherty.
Visitation will be from noon until the funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus. Memorials may be made to Adult Teen Challenge St. Louis, 2650 Appletree Acres Lane, High Ridge, 63049. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Homes.
