Naomi “Noma” Mae Nelson, 90, of House Springs died Sept. 12, 2018, at Baisch Nursing Center in De Soto. Mrs. Nelson was a retired bookkeeper for an auto dealer. Born Aug. 4, 1928, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Mildred (Conrad) and Elmer Erkert.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Jake Nelson.
She is survived by two sons: Mark (Marsha) Nelson of Cedar Hill and Matthew (Tricia) Nelson of Festus; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son: Robert “Andy” Nelson; and a sister: Eunice Nelson.
A graveside service was held Sept. 15 at Sunset Memorial Park, Affton. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel, Festus.
