Mildred L. Pinkley, 89, of De Soto died Dec. 26, 2018, in De Soto. Mrs. Pinkley was a homemaker. Born Jan. 29, 1929, in Bismarck, she was the daughter of the late Ernest A. “Bus” Morlen and Elva (Gibson) Morlen-Hall. He was preceded in death by her husband: Willys Pinkley.
She is survived by three children: Clifford Pinkley of De Soto, Steve (Pamela) Pinkley Sr. of Festus and Darryl (Tammy) Pinkley of De Soto; eight grandchildren: Kerry (Jennifer), Terry (Autumn), Steven Jr., Chris, Brandi, Brea (Kyle), Kayla (Jake) and Danielle; and nine great-grandchildren: Jasper, Jessy (Dan), Penelope, Austin, Clay, Tyler, Ethan, Kaitlyn and Liam.
She was preceded in death by three siblings: Ernest Morlen, Alberta (Robert) Clark and Mary Marie Seiter; a great-grandchild: Ethan; and two great-great-grandchildren: Jackson and Archer.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Gene Moses. Burial is in the Masonic Cemetery in Bismarck. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
