Mike E. Williams, 88, of Barnhart died Oct. 24, 2021, at Bethesda Southgate in St. Louis County. Mr. Williams was a self-employed carpenter. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Army Reserves as well. He was born March 9, 1933, in De Soto, and was preceded in death by his wife: Dorothy (Stephan) Williams.
He is survived by a sister: Bernice Williams; four children: Michael (Shelley) Williams, Mark (Laurie) Williams, Angila (Chris) Sokolic, Kimberly (Nick) Sturgeon; six grandchildren: Amber, Emily, Nicole, Nicholas, CJ and Maranda; six great-grandchildren; and many other family members.
He was preceded in death by eight siblings: Harry Goff, Bob Goff, Olden Goff, Alma (Goff) Rainwater, Preston Williams, David Williams, Ralph Williams and Herb Williams.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 5 p.m. until a memorial service at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home, 9115 Commercial Blvd., in Pevely. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
