Michael Raymond Moon, 76, of Festus died Dec. 14, 2022, at Scenic Nursing Center in Herculaneum. Mr. Moon worked for the City of Crystal City. Born Oct. 15, 1946, in Crystal City, he was the son of the late Elizabeth (Sirk) and Frederick Moon.
He is survived by two sons: George Moon of Great Bend, Kan., and Francis Moon of Festus; and two sisters: Ardeth Korn and Macie Allen.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Theresa Moon; three sisters: Rose, Nancy and Paralee; and a brother: Kurbie.
Funeral services are private. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
