Michael L. “Mike” Huffman, 68, of Festus died Oct. 3, 2020, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson Hospital in Crystal City. of Festus. Mr. Huffman, affectionately known as Superman, was a lighting designer and the vice-president of G. Lighting in St Louis. He held a brown belt in the Isshin-Ryu form of karate and enjoyed acrylic painting, particularly lighting design. Born Aug. 23, 1952, in Poplar Bluff, he was the son of the late Harland and Rachael (Ward) Huffman.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Dale (Hammack) Huffman; two sons: Jim (Mandy) Huffman and Joe Huffman, both of Festus; three daughters: Julie (Shawn) Huffman-McCarver of Farmington, Jana Huffman of De Soto and Jackie Huffman of Festus; a sister: Marsha (Greg) Harrison of Gatlinburg, Tenn.; an aunt: Alice Ward of Arnold; five grandchildren: Trent Pitzer, Max Renshaw, Dagney McCarver, Layla Renshaw and Parker Huffman; and numerous cousins and many friends.
