Michael Glenn Boyer, 57, of De Soto died Nov. 28, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Boyer worked in maintenance at IKON Office Solutions. He enjoyed cars, the St. Louis Blues, the St. Louis Cardinals and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Born Jan. 27, 1964, in Granite City, Ill., he was the son of the late Norbert and Norma (Fanning) Boyer.
He is survived by his wife: Kathryn (Francis) Boyer; two sons: Michael (Jessica) Boyer Jr. of Cadet and Mitchell (Casey) Boyer of De Soto; a brother: Rick (Linda) Boyer of Barnhart; a sister: Carleen (Danny) Craig of De Soto; eight grandchildren: Nathaniel, Isaia, Kaleb, Gabby, Bryson, Wyatt, Austin, Loralei; and many other family members and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his brother: Christopher Boyer; and two sisters: Gayle Boyer and Christine Boyer.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., De Soto. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 7745 Carondelet Ave Ste. 305, Clayton, 63105. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
