Michael Gene Milligan, 63, of Desloge, formerly of Alton, Mo., died Sept. 24, 2017, at NHC Healthcare in Desloge. Mr. Milligan was an assembler for Chrysler who loved music, especially Elvis Presley, and his Coke soda. He enjoyed spending time with family and especially loved his nieces and nephews. Born Sept. 28, 1953, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Marcella (Granzow) and Willard Milligan.
He is survived by a brother: Patrick (Barbara) Milligan of Dittmer; a sister: Kathleen (Larry Siebenmorgen) Tinsley of St. Louis; four nieces: Shannon Coleman, Ginny Milligan, Marley Milligan and Melissa (James) Johnson; a nephew: Shawn Tinsley; a great-nephew: Myles Johnson; and a great-niece: Natalya Johnson.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, at Mahn De Soto Chapel, 900 North Main St., in De Soto. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Ron Duncan. Burial will be in PeacefulRidgeCemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
