Michael G. Carroll, 66, of Lonedell died April 23, 2017. Mr. Carroll was retired as a cement mason from Wilson Concrete and spent the last nine years enjoying working on his property, which he took great pride in. He was a longtime member of the Cedar Hill Elks Lodge and loved the river, fishing, the outdoors and his horse, Buck. Born Jan. 19, 1951, he was the son of the late Glen and Sylvia (McDonald) Carroll.
He is survived by his wife: Ronica “Ronni” Carroll, who operates The Ridge bar in High Ridge; six children: Shelly (Brent) Laposky, Sylvia Bryant, Brenda Maxwell, Timmy Maxwell, Shawn Ferguson and Chris Russell; and many grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son: Billy Maxwell; two brothers: Eugene Carroll and Glenn Marmino; and a sister: Laura McGee.
A funeral service was held April 28 at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Fenton. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery in Bloomsdale. Arrangements were under the direction of Jay B. Smith Funeral Home.
