Michael Duane Lucas, 47, of Hillsboro died May 17, 2016, at his home. Mr. Lucas was born April 25, 1969, in St. Louis County, the son of the late Frank H. Lucas and Patsy (Wideman) Lucas Bustraan.
He is survived by a brother: Mark (Kim) Lucas of Hillsboro; a brother-in-law: P-Nut Rigdon; three nephews: Billy, Jamie and Christopher Lucas; seven great-nieces and nephews; his stepmother: Gloria Jean Lucas of Hillsboro; and four stepsiblings: Rebecca (the late Ken) Baugher of De Soto, Ronda (David) McKalip of De Soto, Shirley (Ron) Schroeder of Milstadt, Ill., and Cora (Ron Jr.) Schrum of De Soto.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Billy Lucas; and three sisters: Barbara Lucas, Chris Lucas and Karen Rigdon.
A funeral service was held May 23 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto, officiated by Brother Carl McKalip. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
