Mel “Butch” Halley died Oct. 6, 2019. He is survived by his wife: Saundra B. (Teer) Halley; two children: Sherry (Dave) Jackson and Tony Halley; four grandchildren: Tori, Bella and Kylie Halley and Ellie Jackson; two sisters-in-law: Dolores Halley and Pam (Dale) Hoofman; five nieces and nephews: Dawn (Darryel) White, Dee (Doug) Francis, Mike (Karen) Halley, Ricky (Mary) Halley and LaQuetta Halley; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: George Halley; a nephew: Donnie Halley.
A funeral gathering will be held from noon until the funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
