Matthew David “Dave” Meadows, 54, Hillsboro

Matthew David “Dave” Meadows, 54, of Hillsboro died April 23, 2020, at his home. Mr. Meadows worked for many years as a mechanic assembling and dismantling automobiles, and in his later years, he worked in the solar industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking, gardening, cooking and hosting gatherings at home with his wife. He also enjoyed sharing his knowledge with his family and friends.

Born August 4, 1965, in Clayton, he was the son of Mary Ann Poucher Booze of Camdenton and the late Don Michael Meadows.

He is survived by his wife: Pamela Van Sickle Meadows of Hillsboro; two sons: Jason Brown of Hillsboro and Danny (Melissa) Brown of De Soto; two daughters: Nikki Tucker of House Springs and Sue Anna (Jim) Garlock-Wagener of High Ridge; four brothers: John S. Wohaska of Barnhart, Kenneth D. Wohaska of Neodesha, Kan., Kenneth S. Meadows of Yuma, Ariz., and Randal G. Wohaska of Camdenton; a sister: Debra K. Brooks of Camdenton; 12 grandchildren: two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Eric Wohaska and James Poucher; two grandparents: William Poucher and Genevieve Poucher; and his first wife: Victoria L. West.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Mahn Funeral Home in Festus.
