Mary T. Parrish, 87, of Hillsboro and De Soto died Sept. 24, 2022, at Hillcrest Care Center. Mrs. Parrish was a hairdresser. Born June 3, 1935, in East St. Louis, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Mildred (Upton) Francis and Henry Boers. She was preceded in death by her husband: Gerald V. Parrish Sr.
She is survived by three children: Gerald (Gwen) Parrish Jr. of Hillsboro, Joe (Angie) Parrish of Park Hills and Terri (David) Elders of De Soto; eight grandchildren: Eric, Jason, Bradley, Laura, Angela, Chrissy, Eric and Sabrina; and six great-grandchildren: Logan, Lily, Jacob, Athena, Lucy and Eli. She was preceded in death by a son: Michael Parrish; one grandchild: Nik; and a great-granddaughter: Isabella Elders.
Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until a funeral service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
