Mary J. Labitzke, 90, of Festus died Aug. 25, 2022, in Festus. Mrs. Labitzke was a homemaker and had worked for K-Mart before her retirement. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in De Soto and enjoyed many activities, but mostly spending time with her grandchildren. She was born May 7, 1932, in Blackwell, the daughter of the late Paul Coleman and Alice Mary Boyer. She was preceded in death by her husband: Donald Labitzke.
She is survived by a daughter, Jolene (Rick) Walker of Hillsboro; and four grandchildren: Rachel, Matthew, Janelle and Ryan. She was preceded in death by a son: Rodney Labitzke; five brothers: Carl Coleman, Leonard Coleman, Paul Coleman, Hillary Coleman and Francis Coleman; and a sister: Monica Norman.
Visitation is scheduled from 9-11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto. A funeral Mass will follow at noon at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in De Soto, officiated by Father Alexander Anderson. Burial is in the Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto.
