Mary Colleen Jinkerson, 58, of Wildwood died June 28, 2022. Mrs. Jinkerson played sports while growing up on her family’s farm and played basketball and volleyball at Lafayette High School and basketball at Meramec Community College. She later attended Southwest Missouri State University. She worked for her family’s business, the Dean Team Automotive Group, at various positions, including dealer principal and continued to work during her battle with multiple sclerosis, for which she relied on her faith. Born Sept. 7, 1963, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Sally and Dick Dean.
She is survived by her husband: David Marvin Jinkerson; two sons: Sean-Patrick Jinkerson and Richie Jinkerson; six siblings: Barbara (Scott) Sorel, Jim (Kirk Behymer) Dean, Patrick (Michelle) Dean, Molly (Tim) Newberry, Bill (Erin) Dean and Richard Dean; a mother-in-law: Elsie Wilkinson; a stepfather-in-law: Dewayne Wilkinson; other in-laws: Pamela Pigg, Richard Goldstein, Melanie Goldstein, Timothy Jinkerson and Kimberly Jinkerson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a father-in-law: Marvin Jinkerson; a stepmother: Maxine Spry Jinkerson; and a brother-in-law: Steve Pigg.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, at Schrader Funeral Home, 14960 Manchester Road, in Ballwin. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 15642 Clayton Road, Ellisville. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 16200 Manchester Road, Grover. Memorials may be made to the Gateway Multiple Sclerosis Society or Sunnyhill Inc. Arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Homes.
