Mary Christine “Chrissy” Yeager, 79, of St. Louis, formerly of Crystal City, died Oct. 5, 2022, at Festus Manor Nursing Facility. Mrs. Yeager was a homemaker. She loved spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed fishing, sewing, dancing and listening to the blues. She was known as the “Lemonade Lady” and will be remembered for her friendliness and big heart. Born Sept. 1, 1943, in Helena, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Louise (Johnson) Franks and Jack Simms.
She was preceded in death by her husband: William “Kenny” Yeager.
She is survived by two sisters: Earlene Riney and Lois Carter; a sister-in-law: Mary Carter; a godson: Derek Riney; a special niece: Michele Riney; a special person: Rocky Tullock; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Verda Ramsey; two brothers: Matthew and Rickey Carter; three nieces: Marilyn Simms, Robin Riney and Paula Yeager; and a nephew: Danny Riney.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 136 Lincoln, in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus.
