Mary A. Massie, 106, of De Soto died May 11, 2021 in De Soto. Born Aug. 6, 1914, in Vincennes, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Mary Alice (Thuis) and William Edgar Draper.
She was preceded in death by her husband: William R. Massie.
She is survived by two children: Marilyn Angel and Cliff Massie; a daughter-in-law: Phyillis Massie; eight grandchildren: Kathy (Rick) Sells, Patrick (Bea) Clark, Jenni (Felix) Elorriaga, Kelly Clark, Tony (Kerry) Massie, Bart Massie, Mickie (John) Bourbon and Tina (Eric) Achenbach; 17 great-grandchildren: Jeremy Rawlings, Andrew (Elena) Sells, Jessica Clark, Dustin (Cheyenne) Clark, Felix (Amanda) Elorriaga Jr., Nidia (Santiago) Alvarez, Adrian (Cristina) Elorriaga, Ana (Cesar) Gonzalez, Gavin Clark, Katelyn Clark, Garrett McGlynn, Lauren Massie, Jordan Musgrave, Amanda (Mike) Souders, Jessica Pilousek, Emily Eimer and Jackie Eimer; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son: Ronald Massie; a son-in-law: John Angel; and a grandson: Jason Massie.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. to noon Monday, May 17, at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa St., in St. Louis, immediately followed by funeral services. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary.
