Marvin “Fred” Harman, 55, of Ste. Genevieve died June 24, 2016, in Ste. Genevieve. Mr. Harman was a member of Bricklayers St. Louis Local 1 and an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Born Jan. 23, 1961, in Festus, he was the son of Susan (Cummiskey) Harman Davis and the late Marvin S. Harman.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children: Matthew D. (Katie) Harman and Amanda F. Harman; four siblings: Martin P. Harman, Benjamin D. (Bonnie) Harman, Jennifer M. (Matthew) Surdyke and Zachary D. (Samantha) Harman; his stepfather: Richard J. Davis; his fiancee: Elizabeth Lukanof; three grandchildren: Jordan, Jeremy and Kaleen; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and his dog, Sam.
Visitation is scheduled at 4 p.m. and a funeral service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, at Basler Funeral Home, 685 Center Dr., in Ste. Genevieve, officiated by Father Bertin Miller. Burial is in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Basler Funeral Home.
