Martin Alan Morgan Jr., 34, of Festus, formerly of Imperial, died Feb. 1, 2020, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Jefferson County. Mr. Morgan was a maintenance manager for Monarch Investment and Management Group of St. Louis. Born Sept. 24, 1985, in St. Louis, he was the son of Dottie (Christner) Leigh of Crystal City and Martin A. Morgan Sr. of Fenton.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Krystle (Burlage) Morgan; five children: Melanie Morgan, Haley Morgan, Dava Faulkner, D.J. Faulkner and Andrea Faulkner, with a son on the way who will be called Martin A. Morgan, III; a sister: Elizabeth (Josh) Berra of Crystal City; two brothers: Joshua (Amanda) Morgan of California and Kenny (Melissa) Christner of Farmington; and his parents-in-law: Michelle and Michael Burlage of Herculaneum.
A memorial gathering is at 5 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home, 9115 Commercial Blvd., in Pevely, officiated by the Rev. Ben DeLong. Memorials may be made to the Morgan Children’s Education Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
