Marsha Daria (Lawrence) Kratzer, 66, of Festus died Sept. 15, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Kratzer worked as a CRTT respiratory therapist at Bethesda Hospital, Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Anthony’s Medical Center. She also worked in the home health care field for American Home Patient. She volunteered with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Meals on Wheels and Athena Elementary School. She enjoyed Bible study at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Festus. She was known as a social butterfly and loved spending time with her family. Born April 9, 1954, in Newport News, Va., she was the daughter of the late Sherrill Augustine and Guila Louise (Johnson) Lawrence.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years: Steve James Kratzer of Festus; two daughters: Becca (John) Walker of Festus and Karen (Brian) Fromme of St. Charles; three siblings: Stephan Lawrence of Saginaw, Mich., Cherrie Lawrence of House Springs and Greg Lawrence of Virginia; and two grandchildren: Hannah and Olivia Walker.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 10) at Immanuel Family Life Center, 221 Brierton Lane, in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in Festus.
