Marlin Dale Hahn, 80, Pevely

Marlin Dale Hahn, 80, of Pevely died May 2, 2021, at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. Mr. Hahn was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired as a warehouse manager for the Doe Run lead smelter in Herculaneum. He was a member of Elks Post 1721 and a former Pevely Board of Aldermen member. In his younger years, he was an Eagle Scout, musician and a Little League baseball and football coach. Born Jan. 14, 1941, in Barnhart, he was the son of the late George Sylvester and Maybel Edith “Mickey” (Hill) Hahn.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Linda Faye (Beckett) Hahn.

He is survived by three sons: Kevin (Marsha Whittmore) Hahn of Festus, Brock (MJ Koeller) Teddleton of Hillsboro and Josh (Kristi Eifert) Teddleton of Herculaneum; five grandchildren: Amber (Jake) Buehler, Zoey Hahn, Lane and Hadley Teddleton, and Kaiden Woods; and a great-grandchild: Kane Buehler.

He was preceded in death by a son: Kristopher “Kit” Teddleton; a sister: Geraldine K. Boyer-Reece; and two brothers-in-law: Bernie Boyer and John Reece.

A celebration of life will be held later. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the donor’s preferred veterans’ organization or animal shelter. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
