Marie I. Dankenbring, 79, of Festus died May 19, 2023. Mrs. Dankenbring was the co-owner of Cross Printing in Festus for 50 years. Born Nov. 1, 1943, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Regina Vontalge.
She is survived by her husband Ewing E. Dankenbring of Festus, whom she married in July 1962.
She also is survived by three children: Dennis E. (Lisa) Dankenbring of Festus, Tim E. Dankenbring of Arnold and Joy R. (Thomas) Wright of Kansas City; seven grandchildren: Matthew, Teagan, Avri and Leyton Dankenbring, Michelle Limpert, Thomas Wright Jr. and Alanna Wendt; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Arlene Schaffer.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at the Hillsboro Community Civic Center, 10349 Business 21.
