Marian Rose Wallace, 80, of St. Louis, formerly of Arnold, died April 22, 2020, at Mercy
Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mrs. Wallace was a retired nurse practitioner and diabetes educator. She was a certified diver and a cat lover. Born April 25, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Nellie and Henry Colarelli. She was preceded in death by two husbands: William Wallace and Laurance M. Duessel.
She is survived by a brother: Henry Colarelli; three sons: Steven (Becky) Duessel, Rich (Cassie) Duessel and Dennis (Annette) Duessel; six grandchildren: Anna (Jim) Brusselback, Sharon Duessel, Amanda (Jason) Hall, Stephanie Duessel, Nikki White and Leandra Capkovic; two great-grandchildren: Hunter David Hall and Ricky White; two stepchildren: Bill (Dede) Wallace and Ann (Aaron) Klaser; and numerous family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Betty Cressey; and a son: David (Trish survives) Duessel.
Visitation and funeral services will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home in south St. Louis County.
