Margaret “Peggy” Ryan, 78, of Hillsboro died April 7, 2022, in Festus. Mrs. Ryan enjoyed painting, sewing, quilting, golfing, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Born March 25, 1944, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Spencer and Cecelia (Polka) Walker.
She is survived by her husband: Thomas Ryan; a sister: Geraldine Ann Walker; three children: Lori (Jeff) Lueken, Scott (Stacey) McCutchen and Hale Ryan; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. She was precede in death by a brother: William S. Walker Jr.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
