Margaret Mary Navin, 77, of Festus died Jan. 27, 2022, at her home. Mrs. Navin was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City. She was born Oct. 31, 1944, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Helen (Burke) and Frank Downey.
She was preceded in death by her husband: John Navin.
She is survived by two sons: Gary S. Tidwell and Bryan J. Tidwell, both of Festus; two daughters: Christine M. (James) Bing of Florissant and Shannon E. (Bentley) Chandler of Festus; two sisters: Dorothy of Washington, Mo., and Alice of Potosi; 12 grandchildren: Kimberly, Annie, Joseph, Timothy, Ryan, Alyson, Nicole, Danielle, Eric, Johnny, Brianna and Caitlyn; and two great-grandchildren: Brynn and Isabella.
She was preceded in death by her six brothers: Robert, Martin, Thomas, John, Frank and Patrick.
Graveside services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks, officiated by Deacon Jerry Stoverink. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
