Margaret Louise “Margy” (Threewitt) Allen Ferguson, 90, of Arnold died Jan. 12, 2022. Mrs. Ferguson was raised in south St. Louis and attended Epiphany Catholic school, later being active in the St. Louis Family Church. She had a zest for life and was a follower of Christ, and enjoyed spending time with family. Born March 16, 1931, in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Davis) Threewitt. She was preceded in death by two husbands: Burtal Allen and David Ferguson
She is survived by nine of her 12 children: Linda (John) McNeill, Karen (John) Merritt, Brian Allen, Danny (Sharon) Allen, Sandy (Paul) Beard, Stephen Allen, Mark (P.J.) Allen, Mike (Beth) Allen and Lisa (Dean) DeLane; two sons-in-law: Mark Viragh and Dave Wood; 27 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many extended family members and friends; and her dog, Maggie. She was preceded in death by special friend Albert Cherry; three children: Steven Allen, Diana (Allen) Wood and Barbara (Allen) Viragh; two brothers: Robert J. (Carol survives) Threewitt and William (Peggy survives) Threewitt; and a sister: Nancy Threewitt.
A funeral service was held Jan. 20 at Kutis Funeral Home in south St. Louis County. Burial was in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
