Lynne A. Hauck, 73, of De Soto died on Jan. 23 from injuries sustained in a crash on Hwy. 67 at Papin Road south of De Soto, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
The Highway Patrol no longer identifies victims of crashes. The Regional Medical Examiner’s Office identified the woman today, Jan. 29.
At 1:42 p.m. on Jan. 20, Hauck was stopped on eastbound Papin Road in a 2015 Honda Civic, the report said. Then, she traveled across southbound Hwy. 67 into the path of a 2017 Toyota Tacoma driven by a 47-year-old De Soto man, causing the Tacoma to strike the left side of the Civic.
Arch Air Medical Services transported Hauck to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where hospital personnel pronounced her dead at 1:20 p.m. on Jan. 23, the report said.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and both vehicles were totaled, the report said.
