Mac D. Means Jr., 80, formerly of House Springs

Mac D. Means Jr., 80, of Elsah, Ill., formerly of House Springs, died June 4, 2021. Born Jan. 14, 1941, he was the son of the late Mac D. Sr. and Margariet Means.

He is survived by a daughter: Michelle (Jeff) Kaufman; three grandchildren: Brittany (Cole) Dressler, Logan Hunt and Ethan Curry; two great-grandchildren: Jaxson and Jameson Dressler; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter: Melanie Hunt; and two siblings: Betty Askins and Dixie Ragan.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral services at noon Saturday (June 12) at Jay B. Smith Fenton Chapel, 777 Oakwood Drive. Burial will be in Sellers Cemetery in Davisville. Arrangements are under the direction of Jay B. Smith Funeral Home.
