Louis W. Arnold, 91, Arnold

Louis W. Arnold, 91, of Arnold died March 23, 2021, in Arnold. Mr. Arnold was a meat cutter at Bankers Tom Boy in Arnold from 1960 until 1988, when he retired. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He also was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Imperial. Born July 5, 1929, in Arnold, he was the son of the late George and Catherine (Becker) Arnold.

He is survived by his wife: Bernice (Thornton) Arnold; two sons: Randy (Barbara) Arnold of Knoxville, Tenn., and Lindy (Lee Ann) Arnold of Imperial; two daughters: Debbie Arnold of Arnold and Susan Shultz of Baltimore, Md.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter: Sally Ann Arnold.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday (March 28) at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday (March 29) at St. John Catholic Church, 4614 Blue Springs Drive, in Imperial. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the St. John Catholic Church Building Fund or NextStep for Life, which provides services to Jefferson County residents with disabilities. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
