Borrini, Louis

Louis Michael Borrini, 85, of High Ridge died May 28, 2020, in High Ridge. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of Specialist First Class. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 1739 for nearly 58 years. He was a founding member of the High Ridge Gun Club and the High Ridge Elks Lodge. He loved to fish, hunt for morel mushrooms and spend time with his family.

Born June 4, 1934, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Louis Steven Borrini, Mary (Salamone) Borrini Delbruegge and Fred P. Delbruegge.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years: Mildred J (Rue) Borrini; five children: Steven P. Webb of High Ridge, LuAnn (Glenn) Mazuranic of High Ridge, Patti (Steve) Uzzetta of Dittmer, Lisa Borrini of High Ridge and Todd (Missy) Borrini of Luebbering; a sister: Rosie (Phil) Rola of Fenton; 18 grandchildren: Jessica, Christopher, Tracy, Michael (Amanda), Jason, Jessica (Brian), Melanie, Chelsea (Eric), Mark (Chelsy), Dennis, Jordan (Alex), Stephen, Gina (Jason), Sandra, Nikki (Cameron), Ryan, Austin and Evan; eight great-grandchildren: Kahlan, Nolan, Lily, Presley, Olivia, Nelson, Gunnar and Colton; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son: Kevin Michael Borrini; a brother: Joseph F. (Shirley) Borrini; two grandchildren: Matthew A. Uzzetta and Alexandria P. Roberts; and a great-grandchild: Florense M. Uzzetta.

Visitation is from noon until the memorial service at 1 p.m. Friday, June 5, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
