Loretta L. Hurt, 95, of Arnold died April 16, 2016, at Scenic Nursing and Rehab in Herculaneum. Mrs. Hurt was a homemaker. She was born May 19, 1920, in Elvins, the daughter of the late Melvin C. and Josephine (Byrd) Daugherty.
She is survived by two sons: Butch (Janis) Hurt of Forristell and Denny Hurt of Mehlville; a daughter: Carole Hawkins of Arnold; two sisters: Wilma Stewart and Glenda Boyer of Desloge; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, at the funeral home. Burial is in the Park Lawn Cemetery in St. Louis County. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
