Loretta A. Moon, 92, of De Soto died Feb. 21, 2017, at The Villas in De Soto. Ms. Moon was a farmer and a member of First Baptist Church of De Soto. Born June 25, 1924, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Lee Austin and Ethel Margaret (Brod) Moon.
She is survived by one brother: LeeRoy (Carol) Moon of De Soto; a sister-in-law: Georgianne Moon of Terre Du Lac; two nieces: Pam Moon of De Soto and Lori (Steve) Wolk of Festus; and two great-nieces: Stacie and Victoria.
She was preceded in death by one sister: Bernice Moon; and one brother: Ervin Moon.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main Street, in De Soto. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Feb. 25, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Jeremy Muniz. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
