Lonnie Hill, 78, of Pevely died March 24, 2022, at his home. Mr. Hill was a member of VFW Post 3777. He enjoyed gambling and collecting baseball cards. Born Oct. 20, 1943, in Kennett, he was the son of the late Harvey and Mildred (Herrell) Hill.
He is survived by his wife: Carol (Coble) Hill; a son: Wayne (Linda) Hill of St Louis; a daughter: Danielle DeHart of Ste. Genevieve; a stepson: Scott (Lynn) Weiss of Festus; three stepdaughters: Stephanie (Bob) Noce of Festus, Lisa (Randy) Ramey of Festus and Dana DeRousse of Pevely; a brother: Ricky (Tracy) Hill of Sullivan; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, a son-in-law and a granddaughter.
A funeral procession will leave at noon Monday, April 4, from Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Dr., in Festus for a graveside service at 12:30 pm in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
