Lola M. Griggs, 66, of Potosi
Lola M. Griggs, 66, of Potosi died May 15, 2026, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Griggs worked for many years as a cook at Gateway Nursing Home, drove a school bus for the Hillsboro R-3 School District and retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a rural carrier. Born July 14, 1959, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Norma Marie (Cage) and Lester William Eisenhauer.
She is preceded in death by a husband: Dennis Griggs.
She is survived by a sister: Lois Prockl of De Soto; and many nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by three siblings: Joan Love, Gerald Eisenhauer and Irma White.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, May 21, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. A funeral service will follow. The Rev. Terry Crank will officiate. Burial will be in Horine Cemetery in Richwoods. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
