Lois M. (Bongner) Haug, 76, of House Springs died Dec. 7, 2017. Mrs. Haug enjoyed spending her free time reading and working on crossword puzzles. She was born Oct. 22, 1941, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Aloys and Lillian (Fahle) Bongner.
She is survived by three children: Celeste (Phillip) Christ of Dittmer, Judy Haug of House Springs and Scott (Angel) Haug of Imperial; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two siblings: Robert (Darlene) Bongner and Jim (Margie) Bongner; three nephews; one niece; and many other family members and friends. She also had four very special dogs that she loved like her children; J.J., Scrappy, Princess and Chase.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Elizabeth Lowe.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in House Springs. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 425 South Woods Mill Rd., Suite 110, Town and Country, 63017. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
