Lloyd “Pete” Elfrank, 93, of St. Peters died Nov. 1, 2024, at Progress West Hospital in O’Fallon. Mr. Elfrank served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as a maintenance supervisor from Westinghouse. Formerly of Festus, he moved to Brownsville, Texas, before moving back to St. Peters in 2013. He was a member of the Festus-Crystal City Elks Lodge. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. He was born on Sept. 5, 1931.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Ellen Marie (Thompson) Elfrank.
He is survived by two sons: Steve (JoJo) Elfrank of Oakville and Ken (Geryl) Elfrank of Festus; five grandchildren: Lisa DeNoyer, Kristi (Chris) Bain, Geron Elfrank, Tawny (Jason) Ruth and Tyson Meyer; five great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn (Alex) DeNoyer, Seth (Veronica) DeNoyer, Hayden Elfrank, Logan Ruth and Dylan Ruth; a daughter-in-law: Connie Nash; and a significant other: Linda Anderson.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Fetal Health Foundation or the American Heart Association/HLHS.
