Linda K. (Duncan) McGlawn, 65, of Pevely died Oct. 21, 2020, in St. Louis. Mrs. McGlawn worked for Maritz Corp. She was a member and secretary of Arnold Church of Christ. Born Aug. 27, 1955, in Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Charles DeWayne and Thelma E. (Moyer) Duncan.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years: Jerrell “Wade” McGlawn of Pevely; two sons: Jeffrey W. (Beata) McGlawn of Pevely and Jason A. (Penny) McGlawn of Valley Park; a daughter: Julie M. (Ephriam) Campbell of St. Louis; five grandchildren: Greta, Szofia, Ethan, Joshua and Rachel; four sisters: Debbie (Ken) Mills of Piggot, Ark., Cathy Swiercz of Spring Hill, Tenn., Carol (Jeff) Drewes of Cedar Hill and Connie (Allen) Mathias of Imperial; a brother: Charles (Rosemary) Duncan of Arnold; and her mother-in-law: Artie M. (Weston) McGlawn of Cedar Hill.
She was preceded in death by an infant sister: Nancy Duncan; a brother-in-law: Dennis Swiercz; and her father-in-law: Jerrell C. McGlawn.
Visitation is at 10 a.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. T uesday, Oct. 27, at Arnold Church of Christ, 2267 Scott Drive, in Arnold , 63010. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the church. Burial will take place at Peaceful Meadows Cemetery in Hillsboro. Memorials may be made to Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
