Linda Dianne Carver, 77, of Robertsville died Oct. 8, 2020, at Mercy Hospital Washington. Mrs. Carver worked as a waitress at Cracker Barrel and volunteered at the Peace by Piece Resale Shop in House Springs. She enjoyed quilting. Born June 2, 1943, in Corning, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Manuel Crossen and Winifred (Fallin) Crossen-Bell. She also was preceded in death by a stepfather: John Bell Sr.
In addition, she was preceded in death by her husband: Floyd Carver, who died Oct. 3, 2020.
She is survived by eight children: Lisa Turner, Denise (Perry Ealer) Bradford, Pamela (Steve) Johnson, Karen (Ralph) Lamar, Steve (Cissy) Carver, Scott (Beverly) Carver, Matthew (Esther) Carver and Jeffry (Debbie) Carver; a sister-in-law: Linda Crossen of Cadet; a stepsister: Alice Axley of Festus; a stepbrother: John “Pete” Bell Jr. of Independence, Kan.; 21 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a brother: Darrel Crossen; and a stepsister: Shirley Waymire.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the funeral services at 7 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 20) at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Brother Willard Waymire. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
