Turner, Lillie

Lillie Elizabeth Rulo Turner, 76, of Williamsville died Jan. 30, 2022, in De Soto. Mrs. Turner was a caretaker at a day care facility and a member of Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Paragould, Ark. She loved worshipping the Lord and enjoyed playing games, taking care of babies and spending time with her friends and family. She was born July 14, 1945, in Williamsville, the daughter of the late William Norval and Dortha (Bilbrey) Strange. She was preceded in death by her first husband: Donald Rulo; and her second husband: Walter William “Bill” Turner.

She is survived by three children: William (Judy) Rulo, Dortha (Ken Sr.) Rike and Brenda Johnson, all of De Soto; a stepson: William (Roselyn) Turner; a stepdaughter: Shanna (Daniel) Davis; a brother: Charles Strange of St. Charles; 14 grandchildren: Johnnie Rulo, Nickolas Rulo, D.J. Rulo, Amanda (Stephen) Mitchell, Beth Heath, Tiffany Downs, Emily Rike, Matt Nosser, Rebecca (Glen) Brown, Leeanna (Chase) Brown, Steven Johnson Jr., Matt Johnson Sr., Heather Johnson and David Johnson; six step-grandchildren: Shayna, James, William, Makayla, Cristina and Grace; 31 great-grandchildren, with another on the way; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law: Steve Johnson Sr.; a stepdaughter: Donna Nunley; a sister: Wilma June Reimolds; and one grandson: Kenneth Rike Jr.

Visitation is scheduled from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until a funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 7, at Solid Rock Church, 899 Gravois Road, in Fenton, officiated by Brothers James Manning, Mickey Roettgen and Jason Adams. Burial is in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
