Kyle Patrick Govreau, 34, of Festus died Aug. 24, 2016, in Festus. Mr. Govreau was a mechanic with Huskey Trailways in Festus and a member of Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City. He loved working on small engines and car restoration projects, but was better known for his sense of humor, his compassion and his love of family. He was born March 22, 1982, in St. Louis, the son of Philip C. Govreau Jr. of Festus and the late Sharon Eileen (Floyd) Govreau.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife: Wendy (Wildhaber) Govreau; a daughter: Abigail Govreau; a son: Mason Govreau; three sisters: Carrie Govreau of Festus, Marsha (Donald) Kentch of Festus and Leigh Ann Beaird of Dexter; and three brothers: Bryan Govreau of Atlanta, Ga., Steve Govreau of Festus and Andy (Lisa) Govreau of Festus.
Funeral Mass was held Aug. 29 at Sacred Heart Church, officiated by Father Clark Maes. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the Govreau Children’s Fund. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
