Kyle Matthew Hart, 39, of Chattanooga, Tenn., died Friday, July 17, 2020, in Chattanooga. A graduate of Northwestern High School in Missouri, he recently attended his 20th class reunion. Although Kyle’s life was spent in a wheelchair, his family says it was full and active. He loved country music concerts, Lookouts’ and Cardinal baseball games, car shows, traveling, cruises and spending time with family and friends. His family says he never met a stranger and had a contagious smile and sense of humor that would leave a smile.
Born Dec. 16, 1980, in Cape Girardeau, he is survived by his father, Roy Hart of De Soto, and his mother Velva (Tommy) Butler of Lafayette, Ga.
He also is survived by his maternal grandmother: Marie Christy of Howell, Mich.; a brother: Kirk Darnell of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Cara Hart and Bethaney Hart, both of Farmington; four nephews and nieces: Kaydence, Mayci and Blake Moss and Allaina Darnell, all of Farmington; aunts and uncles: Eddie (Mary Jane) Hart of Cape Girardeau, Betty (Ray) Coffer of Jackson, Tenn., Carol Hart of Imperial; Diane Hart of Jasper, Ala., Anna Lou (Tom) Dougherty of Chambersburg, Penn., Mark (Marsha) Hart of Charleston, Mike Hart of Scott City, Debra Hart of Killeen, Texas, Marcia Leffler of Charleston, John (Lori) Burke of Howell, Mich., Rodney (Misty) Basham of East Prairie, and Charles Burke of Skiatook, Okla.; numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Clement and Lucille (Delk) Hart; his great-grandmother: Gertrude Evans; two uncles: Robert Hart and Robert Leffler; two aunts: Robin Adams and Sharon (Collier) Hart; a cousin: Angie Henderson.
Memorial services are pending. Arrangements are under the direction of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, Tenn.
