Kimberly Celeste Bass, 47, of St. Louis died March 20, 2019, at Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur. Ms. Bass was a licensed practical nurse. She enjoyed music, dancing, singing, travel, spending time with friends, shopping and playing with her Shih Tzu, Cole. Born April 30, 1971, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Priscilla Marie (Gray) and Kermit Spencer Cook.
She is survived by a son: Demetrius Terry of Fayetteville, Ark.; a daughter: Jazmin Person of St. Louis; a brother: Jeffrey (Joan) Bingham of St. Louis; and two sisters: Lucretia (Felix) Dukes of Lenexa, Kan., and Joshlyn (Keith) Johnson of Florissant.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Kermit Spencer Cook Jr.
Visitation is at 10 a.m. and a funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus, officiated by Pastor Alecia Thomas and Pastor Keith Johnson. Burial is in the Oakdale Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4215 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, 63108. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
