Kevin Ray Fuchs, 70, Eureka

Kevin Ray Fuchs, 70, of Eureka died Nov. 30, 2021, in St. Louis. Mr. Fuchs had many friends through the Local Carpenters Union. He loved spending time with family and making people laugh. He also enjoyed showing off his ’63 Red Chevy at car shows. He will be remembered for his strength, kindness and loving personality. Born Dec. 12, 1950, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late George and Ann (Strawhun) Fuchs.

He is survived by his wife: Diane (Burchard) Fuchs of Eureka; a daughter: Melissa (Noah) Johnson of San Diego; four grandchildren: Chris, Maddie, Ollie and Henry; a great-grandchild: Aubrey; seven siblings: Michael Fuchs, Patty Hunt, Sandy (John) Huber, Karen (Rick) Stark, Marty (Melinda) Fuchs, Shelley (Bruce) Ploetze and Chris (Kim) Fuchs; and many other family members and friends.

He also was preceded in death by a son: Kevin Ray Fuchs Jr.; and a brother: Dennis Fuchs.

A memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 12) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 17 Ann Ave., in Valley Park. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4207 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, 63108. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
